Testogen Review – A Good Testosterone Booster
Hey everyone! I recently got my hands on a bottle of Testogen and decided to put together a solid Testogen review for you! Now, I’m sure there’s plenty of Testogen reviews out there that you could be reading. Honestly, some might be better than mine, some might be worse than mine, but I honestly put a good amount of effort in creating this review of Testogen, so I hope it can add some value and help you decide whether or not you want to buy Testogen.
First off- What is Testogen?
Testogen is a testosterone booster. If you don’t know what a testosterone booster is, it’s a supplement that’s designed to help increase testosterone levels in the body. Testosterone is a hormone in the human body that helps with a variety of crazy masculine things like growing body hair, boosting sex drive, and of course, the reason why you’re probably reading this, increasing muscle mass!
As you age, testosterone levels in your body gradually decrease. Uh-oh. Y’know what that means right, champ? Yup, less body hair growth, less sex drive, and yes, less ability to build muscle mass! That’s where Testogen and other good tesosterone boosters come into play.
Testogen is developed and manufactured by BUYYO LTD, which is a company based out of Cyprus. If you go to the official website, you’ll be able to see some more details. Although the Testogen website is essentially a stand-alone site and appears self-branded, it’s connected to Bauer Nutrition, a major supplement company in the UK, which specializes in a large variety of supplements.
Testogen comes in a white bottle with a black/green/white label. There are 120 capsules in each bottle. You’re supposed to take 4 capsules per day, which means you have 30 servings per bottle. The bottle doesn’t actually say when you should take the tablets or how frequently you should take the tablets, so I actually called the customer service number and asked (yep, I’m not kidding!). They advised that as long as you’re taking 4 capsules per day, there’s not necessarily a “wrong” way of taking Testogen, but it is preferred to spread your doses throughout the day. In other words, it’s better to take 2 tablets with breakfast and then another 2 tablets with lunch, than to take all 4 tablets with one meal. By spreading it out, you’re allowing a consistent addition of the supplement to your body. This can help create a consistent flow of elevated testosterone and energy levels throughout the entire day.
What’s inside Testogen and how does it work?
Here are the main ingredients:
D-Aspartic Acid: Okay, so I’m not going to go overboard with some crazy, scientific mumbo-jumbo with this ingredient. The bottom line is that D-Aspartic acid is an amino acid (building block of protein) that helps with the production of testosterone. There is a lot of hype around D-Aspartic acid when it comes to treating men with infertility issues! So..if you’re looking to get your woman pregnant, Testogen is also a good choice for that. Testogen has 2000mg of D-Aspartic acid per serving which is the recommended amount. D-Aspartic acid is essentially the flagship ingredient in Testogen.
Tribulus Terrestris: Testogen contains 300 mg of this ingredient. Tribulus Terrestris is an interesting one. There are mixed opinions about it. It’s a plant that grows in various tropical climates throughout the world and has been said to help the body naturally increase testosterone levels. Some bodybuilders are believers in the ingredient, but at the same time, scientific studies have not been able to prove it.
Panax Ginseng: Known mainly as just ‘Ginseng,’ it’s one of the most purchased ingredients in the entire world. It’s a plant that’s been used in traditional Chinese medicine for ages. Studies have linked ginseng to increased immunity, increased stimulation, increased concentration and learning, and decreased blood sugar levels.
Fenugreek Extract: Fenugreek is an herb that looks similar to a clover and is said to taste similar to maple syrup (yummmm). Some say that fenugreek helps with hernias, erectile dysfunction, and male infertility. It’s been shown to also have some health-related benefits related to heart health, stomach issues, kidney problems, and diabetes.
Zinc: Zinc is a popular mineral shown to have various health benefits which include antioxidant-related properties, anti-aging of the skin, muscle health, boosting immunity, and boosting vision health.
Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (B6): If you guessed that this is a form of vitamin B6…..you’re correct! Vitamin B6 has been shown to have various benefits, almost too many to name! A lot of the benefits revolve around energy, concentration, nausea and assisting with various mental disorders like ADD, depression, and Parkinson’s. One serving of Testogen contains 56 mg of B6, which is 3280% of your daily value! Don’t let that 3000+% scare you though! B Vitamins are water soluble.
Riboflavin (B2): Riboflavin, which is also known as Vitamin B2 (crazy, for the longest time I never knew that), has been shown to help with diseases like jaundice, certain eye conditions, and harmful pathogens found in the blood. When you take a lot of it, it has a tendency to make your urine very yellow! 20 mg of vitamin B2 are in a serving of Testogen which is 1228% daily value.
Calcium Pantothenate (B5): Yes, folks, another B vitamin….I know, I know! Known mainly as pantothenic acid, vitamin B5 is used to help synthesize coenzyme-A in your body. It also helps to synthesize and break down various fats, carbohydrates, and proteins.
Selenium: Selenium is a mineral that helps with metabolism and appears to have some antioxidant properties.
Cholecalciferol (D3): This is a form of vitamin D3, which helps the body absorb calcium, increase muscle strength, boost immunity, reduce inflammation, and help prevent rickets.
Based on my own personal research, there certainly isn’t much to worry about in the way of ingredients. There are no sketchy ingredients in Testogen. The only ingredient that is partially questionable is tribulus terrestris, which may or may not boost your testosterone levels. In any case, there is no evidence that it will harm you in any way, so it will either help or it won’t.
Should I Buy Testogen?
Here are some thing to keep in mind before purchasing your bottle of Testogen. You can order Testogen from the official Testogen website or from the Bauer Nutrition website. There is actually a slight difference for you depending on where you order from.
At Official Testogen Website:
A 1-month supply of Testogen costs $54.95. You will, however, save much more money if you order in bulk. If you buy 2 bottles of Testogen, you’ll get a 3rd bottle free for a total price of $119.95. And…even better….if you buy 3 bottles, you’ll get 2 bottles free plus an e-book about testosterone and free muscle tea, for a total price of $179.95.
At Bauer Nutrition Website:
If you could care less about the free tea and e-book and just want to save money, you’ll probably want to order from Bauer Nutrition as opposed to the Testogen website. You’ll save a bit of money if you order more than 1 bottle. From Bauer Nutrition, a 1-month supply of Testogen still costs $54.95. But, if you buy 2 bottles of Testogen, you’ll a 3rd for free for a total price of $109.90, and if you buy 3 bottles of Testogen, you’ll get 3 extra bottles for free for a total price of $164.85.
No matter which site you choose, you get access to FREE shipping throughout the world. The product is also backed by a 60-day guarantee which is always nice.
If you’re new to supplementation and the world of testosterone boosters, the price may seem high, but it’s actually pretty comparable to other good testosterone boosters on the market. In my opinion, I’d say it’s a good product and worth trying out. From my personal experience of taking Testogen for 15 days, I never felt any sort of negative side effects. The only thing I did notice was that whenever I went to pee, my urine was very yellow (eewwwwwww!!). The fact that my pee was very yellow, however, is actually a good thing because it means that there was a good amount of riboflavin in the supplement, which further means…..the bottle contains what it says it contains!
Testogen, just like any supplement, is not for everyone. If you’re a woman, for example, you should NOT be taking this supplement. That would just be stupid. This product is ideal for men who are looking to boost their testosterone levels and feel a bit more energetic.
This product is good for men who:
1. Want to build muscle
2. Want to burn fat
3. Want to boost their sex drive
4. Want to potentially assist with any sort of infertility problems they may have
5. Want higher energy levels in the gym
6. Typically are a bit older and starting to produce testosterone at a slower rate
I believe the older you are, the more effective Testogen will be. For a younger guy like myself, a testosterone booster’s effects may not feel as strong compared to when a 50 year-old man takes it. For me, personally, given my current fitness goals, Testogen would help but is certainly not necessary. If you’re a fitness model or body builder and you’re looking for every possible way to maximize your strength or physique, it might be worth giving Testogen a shot.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a good testosterone booster, Testogen is a pretty solid choice. It just totally depends on what your goals are. In any case, I hope this review helps! Let me know if you have any further questions, as I’m always here to help!
Supp. It. Up.
