Yo, what’s up guys? This is David Hoang, coming at you from supplementsuperhero.com. And today I’m going to be talking about how Christina Aguilera lost weight.
So, how did Christina Aguilera lose weight?
It’s a fairly popular topic, it’s a little old, it’s a little outdated, I’m like three years late on this topic, but still a popular topic and it’s still something that we can all learn from.
Background Story on Aguilera
So, if you don’t know who Christina Aguilera is, super famous singer, had a lot of great hits, so on, so forth, blah, blah, blah.
And throughout the years, I think leading up to 2014, there was actually a lot of rumors going around because of her … She had a lot of criticism towards her in regards to her weight fluctuations.
So, it seemed like she’d gain weight, lose weight, gain weight, lose weight.
And, it was in 2014, everyone saw that she had lost a good amount of weight and she was very slim and she had a great figure and there was a lot of rumors going around even saying that she underwent liposuction and resorted to liposuction.
And, she’s five foot two, currently, at this time. It is 2017 as I’m recording this, she’s 36 years old, 110 pounds, and she has a couple of kids. So, despite her age, she’s still keeping very well, she’s still keeping very thin.
So obviously, people will always spread rumors, but it turns out the rumors are wrong, they’re 100% false.
The Secret: Work Ethic
Basically, Christina Aguilera lost weight because of her dedication, her work ethic, and just developing really, really good natural habits.
She actually lost 50 pounds. I don’t know the exact timeframe, but throughout the year or two or three, going into 2014, she had actually lost 50 pounds, and it was all just through natural work ethic. That’s it. Just good habits.
And, she has two kids, and then, she said at the time, she had a six year-old and she was chasing him around a lot and taking care of him, so that kept her very active. But in addition to that, she did a lot of really basic things.
So here’s some of the tips that she suggested and that she implemented in her life.
She basically ate a well-balanced diet, she did yoga and then she regularly worked out with a personal trainer. So, pretty simple, nothing crazy there. Just balanced diet, yoga and working out regularly.
And, some of the food she ate included blueberries, healthy fats, like eating avocados, eating chicken breasts over salad, eating shrimp cocktails, and she had also cut back on alcohol quite a bit.
But, she still occasionally splurges a little bit, has a good glass of wine every once in a while, right? You got to treat yourself a little bit, got to have a cheat day here and there, right?
And I think, most importantly is she has very good mindset when it comes to her weight and when it comes to weight loss.
She believes that it’s really important for you to embrace your body no matter what your shape is, no matter what your size is, no matter what your figure is, and she really wishes that more women would be more proud of their bodies as opposed to dissing other women for being proud of their bodies.

One thing that we could take away from this and from Christina Aguilera is just not to care too much about what other people think, be proud of your body, embrace it and just be active.
Be active and just develop good habits like attending yoga, working out with a personal trainer, having a well-balanced diet, if you got kids, chase them around.
