My Review of Gynectrol- Get Rid of Man Boobs?
Hey people! I put together this Gynectrol review for your viewing pleasure! I think you might find this supplement particularly helpful if you’ve been DYING to get rid of your Moobs!
First off, if you don’t know what Moobs are, they’re short for “man boobs.” Some of the more insensitive and straight-forward people on the web like to call them “bitch tits.” It’s basically the enlargement of the male breasts. The medical term used to describe the actual condition, especially for more serious cases, is gynecomastia. This is probably why the product is called Gynectrol since it’s used to help eliminate gynecomastia. I know….rocket science, right?
Just so that there’s no confusion, it’s still possible to have Moobs without having full-blown gynecomastia. Gynectrol is really designed for anyone that is really not that happy with the flabby or saggy appearance of their chest. There are also various levels of severity when it comes to gynecomastia. Gynecomastia occurs commonly in newborns, teenagers, and men over the age of 50. For babies and teenagers, many cases of gynecomastia are temporary and typically go away naturally; this is likely because one’s body experiences quite a bit of hormonal change during those periods. The experts say that gynecomastia is primarily caused by an imbalance of androgens (hormones that control male characteristics) and estrogens (hormones that control female characteristics).
If you have a really, really serious case of gynecomastia, you might just want to see your doctor because supplementation can only do so much. If you have mammoth Moobs, your doctor can prescribe medication, or if you have a lot of money, surgery is also an option.
For those that have more minor cases of gynecomastia, exercise, proper nutrition, and supplementation might be a healthier, more natural, and more cost-effective solution! Enter: Gynectrol!
First off- What is Gynectrol?
Gynectrol is an oral supplement from CrazyBulk. Like most of CrazyBulk’s supplements, it comes in a small, plain white bottle with a green-colored label. One bottle contains a 30-day supply of 60 capsules, which means you’re supposed to take 2 capsules per day. Ideally you should take 2 tablets before breakfast.
Alrighty….then what’s inside Gynectrol and how does it work?
The key ingredients inside Gynectrol:
Chromium (as Picolinate) – 162mcg- 135% Daily Value per capsule – I was pretty glad to see that there was chromium in this product. Although there is definitely some debate concerning the true effectiveness of chromium in healthy adults, evidence shows pretty solid health benefits. Chromium picolinate (there’s other variations of chromium used for various functions) is the version of chromium that’s used in dietary supplements, and helps insulin in your body breakdown glucose (aka those nasty sugars) better.
Caffeine – 200 mg per capsule– Ahh yes. I think that this one should be obvious to most, but in case you don’t know, caffeine is the king of stimulants. It gives you the energy you need to make it through the day and is found in coffee, energy drinks, soda, and quite a few weight loss supplements. Caffeine has been shown to help with weight loss. 200 mg of caffeine is equal to about 2.5 cups of coffee.
Green Tea Extract (Leaf) – 125 mg per capsule- Green tea is certainly an ingredient that is worthy of an article in its own right. It has a significant history especially in Asia. In terms of weight loss, many say that it helps to boost your metabolic rate. When your metabolism increases, you’re able to able burn fat and break down carbohydrates a lot faster, which means you’re less likely to grow man boobs.
Guggulsterones (Plant Resin) – 50 mg per capsule- Yup….a tongue-twisting ingredient….haha…what do you expect? This is basically a plant steroid found in guggul plants. Some say that it helps with fat loss. Some studies have also connected it with lowering cholesterol levels, lowering inflammation, and possessing anti-oxidizing traits.
Theobromine Cacao (Fruit) – 50 mg per capsule- Theobroma cacao is the scientific term for cacao tree or cocoa tree. Yaaaaay, we have cocoa beans in this product! Cacao beans or cocoa beans (whichever term you prefer) contain theobromine which has similar effects to caffeine in your body!
Sclareolides (Seed) – 25 mg per capsule- This is a natural ingredient found in various plants. It’s used as a fragrance in cosmetics in addition to being found in various weight loss supplements. The effectiveness of it’s weight loss function is still to be determined.
My Personal Experience:
Below is an actual log of my experience when taking gynectrol for 12 days. On days 9 through 11 I actually lost track and forgot to record the actual date (whoops…..sorry….).
Day 1 – 7/14/16 – took 2 with lunch- felt bloated
Day 2 – 7/15/16 – took 2 with lunch- felt bloated -good energy levels
Day 3 – 7/16/16 – took 2 -20 min before lunch – felt slightly bloated
Day 4- 7/17/16 – took 2 -20 min before lunch
Day 5- 7/18/16 – took 2 right after lunch – elevated energy
Day 6 – 7/19/16 – took 2 right before breakfast – noticed pretty good energy levels…needed to stand forwork
Day 7 – 7/20/16- took 2 after lunch…felt bloated after dinner but might have been the tacos
Day 8 – 7/21/16 – took 2 after lunch…decent energy levels
Day 9 – took 1 with lunch…good energy levels..not as much bloating
Day 10 – took 1 with lunch
Day 11- took 1 with lunch
Day 12- 8/2/16 – took one with lunch
As you can see above, one of my first experiences when taking gynectrol was feeling bloated. For those of you who aren’t too experienced with weight loss supplements, it is somewhat common to feel bloated when you’re taking a weight loss supplement of some sort. It could stem from a variety of factors, but for gynectrol in particular, I’m guessing that it’s because of the caffeine content. Caffeine has a tendency to dehydrate your body and when your body is dehydrated, that’s when that sick, nasty feeling of bloating occurs!!
On Day 9 I decided to experiment and took 1 tablet instead of 2. I noticed that I didn’t feel nearly as bloated as before! On Days 10 through 12, I also took only 1 tablet and didn’t feel bloated at all!
The one other major observation I had throughout my experimentation was a spike in energy levels! Booooooya! Who doesn’t love more energy? I’m not sure if there could have been more synergistic factors involved, but I’m pretty sure that the 200 mg of caffeine were a big part in my increased level of energy. I noticed my increase in energy on Day 2 of being on gynectrol. In my opinion, the fact that I was feeling more energetic after being on the supplement for only 2 days is a great sign. It shows that the the product is at least making some difference and trying to work in my body! It also insinuates that the amount of caffeine in the product should be fairly accurate. On day 6, my energy had spiked so much that I could barely sit in my chair at work! I literally had to stand up at my desk in order to keep myself from fidgeting around too much (I work in an office and sit at a computer for the majority of the day).
Should I Buy Gynectrol? Is it worth the money?
My response to the above question for almost all the products I review will, for the most part, be the same: it all depends on your goal. Maybe it’s for you and maybe it’s not, but as always, there are some things to consider before investing your hard-earned money into a bottle of this Moob-killing product.
It all depends on your goals and how bad you want to achieve them. I would say that this product is NOT for you if you’re 100% satisfied with your current routine. If you’re 100% satisfied with your exercise routine, daily diet, and collection of supplements, especially weight loss supplements, there probably is no need for you to invest in this product. If you’re steadily getting the results you want and feel consistent progression toward your desired goal, you might be better off sticking to what already works. After all….you know what they say….if it’s not broken, why fix it, eh?
I also would NOT recommend gynectrol if you’re super sensitive caffeine. If you’re the type of person who gets sick when consuming caffeine or gets super shaky or hyper, you should probably avoid the product. Although A LOT of weight loss supplements contain caffeine and other ingredients that elevate your energy, it might be worth taking some extra time to find some fat-burning supplements that won’t get you feeling all wired and jittery.
With that being said, I believe gynectrol is an all-around good supplement. All the ingredients in the product make sense. Assuming you’re not overly sensitive to caffeine, or extremely allergic to anything, there’s no ingredient in the product that’s going to harm you. If you’re like me and consume caffeine on a regular basis, this is a product that might not just be a good fat-burner, but can certainly be a good energy boost to get you through your day. This is especially important if you’re on an intense diet and/or training regiment to lose weight. Losing weight can be very hard on the body and exhaust you from day to day, so that extra boost in energy can certainly be helpful!
Gynectrol can be really helpful if you’re just sick and tired of being sick and tired of your body image. If you look in the mirror and hate looking at your man boobs or inflated belly or elephant-sized thighs, it might be a good idea to invest in a product like gynectrol. If you’ve tried a variety of weight loss supplements and don’t like the results you’re getting, gynectrol might just give you that extra push you’re looking for.
Also, if you’re new to the world of diet pills and supplementation, gynectrol might be a great product to start off with. There’s not a laundry list of crazy, sketchy controversial ingredients. The ingredients make logical sense and there’s a limited number of them, which in my opinion, is very good. If you’re a newbie I’d recommend starting with 1 tablet per day instead of the suggested 2 tablets per day. Even with my relatively good resistance to caffeine, I still felt pretty bloated when I took 2 tablets per day. Once you become accustomed to 1 tablet, then I’d recommend transitioning to 2 tablets per day if you feel the need to.
One bottle of gynectrol costs $61.99 (that’s United States currency in case you’re from a different country) and lasts for 30 days. $61.99 is a relatively comparable price compared to similar products on the market. That comes out to about $2.07 per day, which is the same price as a cup of coffee or a burger at your local McDonalds.
The really cool thing about CrazyBulk products is that if you order 2 bottles, you can get a 3rd bottle for free! Yup, that’s right! Instead of paying $186 for 3 bottles, you’ll pay only $124 which is a really great deal. If you really want to see how well this product works, I strongly suggest using the product for 60-90 days anyways.
If you want to get additional savings, you could always stick to just using 1 tablet per day. If you were to consume 1 tablet per day instead of the recommended 2 tablets, your 1 bottle would last 60 days instead of 30. That way if you were to order 3 bottles, you could make that supply last a whole 6 months! Another money-saving technique could be to grab 2 other friends and split the cost. If you were to order 3 bottles and split the cost three ways, your cost per bottle would only be $41.32.
Another aspect of CrazyBulk that I really like is the FREE shipping they offer for certain countries! I’ve never been a fan of paying shipping costs, so it’s nice that CrazyBulk offers free shipping for those that live in the United States and Europe. My sympathies if you live outside of the United States and Europe. 🙁 But, it is nice that they ship to a multitude of countries. If you live in the United States or the UK, shipments will usually take 3-7 days. If you live in a different European country it may take 3-10 working days, and for other countries throughout the world it may take 5-15 working days. Although the free shipping is nice, you will, unfortunately, have to be patient when it comes to waiting for the your product to arrive.
I also want to let you know that gynectrol is not just for men with man boobs. Women can also use the product! WHHHHAAAAT!?? Yes mam! That’s right. Although CrazyBulk markets the product to men with moobs, it’s really just a weight loss supplement. There’s really not a magical ingredient in the product that specifically targets moobs. It contains ingredients that are designed for weight loss and fat-burning in general, so if you’re a man that doesn’t have moobs or woman that’s merely looking to shed some pounds, you can certainly try the product out!
In conclusion, CrazyBulk’s man boob product is an overall good weight loss pill. It’s not just for fat men that suffer from minor gynecomastia but can be used by anyone that’s look to slim down or even anyone that wants a quick energy boost. Also, always keep in mind that this product isn’t designed to cure full-blown gynecomastia, especially if it’s a hormonal issue. Please check with your doctor if you have an extraordinary case of man boobs, Also don’t be so stupid to think that this is a magical diet pill. There is no such thing as a magical, push-button diet pill. The best cure for weight loss is a healthy balance of diet, exercise, and supplementation. Hope this helps!
