Introduction
Hey, what’s up, guys? This is David Hoang coming at you from supplementsuperhero.com, and today, I’m going to be talking about some of the benefits of organic coconut oil for your skin…five benefits specifically.
I was online doing a little bit of research, and I found one good article that did a good job of really explaining some of the benefits for your skin. So let’s get into it
1.Great For Lips
Number one, it’s great for the lips. It’s great as ChapStick or as lip gel or lip balm, whatever you want to call it.
But basically, I don’t know about you guys, but my lips get super, super chap. They get super dry. They get really nasty.
And they say that by applying some coconut oil to your lips, it really helps to moisturize it…really helps to help with some of those cracked lips you might experience, especially during Winter time.
I’m here in Wisconsin. It gets really, really cold here. It gets really dry and nasty. So if you apply some coconut oil to your lips, might help with that.
So another thing too- is with a lot of these ChapSticks out there, they have all these other chemicals in it, and a lot of times, it’s not really good for you when you put some ChapStick on, and then you lick your lips, and then some of that goes into your body.
It’s nasty, and I’ve had some bad experiences with that where I’ll put ChapStick on, I’ll lick my lips a little bit, and then it would have this really, really bad effect on my throat.
So, definitely keep that in mind. Coconut oil, especially organic coconut oil, is really good even if you lick your lips a little bit. It’s still good because it’s all natural, and coconut oil, all around, is good for you.
2.Skin Moisturizer
Second benefit- skin.. as a skin moisturizer, okay. This is really, really good. Honestly, I had some great experiences with coconut oil…applying it to my face…applying it to my skin.
It really helps to make your skin a lot more smooth…a lot more moisturized. The vitamin E in coconut oil’s really good. The proteins in coconut oil’s really good.
All of that stuff is really, really good for just healing the skin…making the skin look good…making it feel good.
I actually have another video where I actually talk about my own personal testimonial and how it really helped my face out. So, as a skin moisturizer, it does a fantastic job.
3.Coconut Oil For Removing Makeup?
Number three is a makeup remover. Now, this isn’t that popular because there’s a lot of a woan out there who use makeup removers.
They sell makeup removers as am standalone product. So, lots of women already use that. Okay, men too, I guess, technically.
But, they say it’s becoming a little more popular among women just to use it as just a natural makeup remover. So, I don’t know a whole lot about that. But one thing to keep in mind if you do wear makeup.
4.Healing Skin Conditions
Number four- skin disorders. Okay. And this is obviously something that you can’t really 100% claim. I can’t 100% legally claim that coconut oil, organic coconut oil, is a cure for eczema or psoriasis.
But, a lot of people speak volumes when it comes to organic coconut oil helping a lot of these skin disorders.
For me, personally, in my family, my mom, she had eczema on her scalp. I applied coconut oil to her scalp consistently every night for a period of days on end. And, eventually, her eczema just went away.
And now, I just apply it once every one to two weeks or so just to help maintain the moisture in her skin. But honestly, I’m a huge fan of coconut oil when it comes to treating some of those skin disorders.
Again, I can’t legally say that it’s a cure for your eczema, but it can help from my own personal experience.
5.Anti-Aging
Okay. Last thing, number five, is anti-aging. So, I mean this one, there’s a lots of things that are “anti-aging”. Coconut oil might be one of those.
I mean again, experiences are going to differ from person to person, but there’s people out there who say that coconut oil can help.
And obviously with the vitamins and proteins in coconut oil, they say that it helps to really restore the dying skin cells. So, your skin and the cells in your skin are constantly dying. The proteins that coconut oil provides help out with that. Okay.
So, they also say that it also helps to fight antifungal infection as an antifungal infection agent. I don’t know if I said that right, but it helps to fight infections in your skin as well. So, that’s one thing that might contribute to both the anti-aging benefits of the product, as well as the fighting of the skin disorders.
Conclusion
Okay, so again, five good benefits…one, as a lip gel…two, as a skin moisturizer…three, potential makeup remover…four, fighting skin disorders like potentially eczema, psoriasis, so on, so forth…and five, anti-aging.
