Introduction
Hey guys, this is David from supplementsuperhero.com and in this video we’re going to be talking about three simple thigh fat-burning exercises that you can do at home with no equipment needed at all.
#1 Jumping Squats
So let’s get into it. Number one, jumping squats. This is by far one of my personal favorite exercises.
In fact, squats in general, are one of my favorite exercises just because they work various muscle groups…a great example of an overall compound exercise and compound lift.
But, if you’re looking to do something at home, then jumping squats are perfect, and, in fact, they might even be better than just regular squats.
You don’t have to worry about getting equipment…you don’t have to worry about a barbell…you don’t have to worry about potentially breaking your back.
It’s just a lot easier and gets your heart pumping like crazy. It works various muscle groups, particularly the thighs, the glutes, the lower body…it’s just all-around a really great effective exercise.
#2 Burpees
Number two, burpees. These are awesome. Honestly growing up I had no clue what a burpee was… throughout cross country…throughout track and field.
I had actually never been trained to do burpees. In gym classes, I was never trained to do burpees, but I recently started doing burpees about a year or so ago and they are fantastic.
Burpees are one of those exercises that increases the heart rate exponentially. It gets the heart rate increased extremely fast.
It works various muscle groups, both your upper body as well as your lower body. It’s fantastic cardio and honestly one of the best workouts you can do…no equipment needed.
Just….you could do it at home by yourself. Super easy, super simple.
#3 Dancing
Alright. Number three…last but not least, dancing.
This one might strike a lot of people as super weird, as super awkward, but honestly it’s one of the best workouts you can do. The thing is, it’s pretty crazy, but everyone loves to dance.
Everyone might not be comfortable dancing in public or dancing in front of others, but everyone deep down inside, loves to dance, and it’s one of those exercises that you can get really creative with.
There’s a bunch of free resources out there and it’s just one of those fun activities that you could do that’ll help you lose weight, help you shed thigh fat and you could do it at home. You don’t need equipment and you’re going to have fun doing it.
Right. So, who says exercising can’t be fun? Dancing is one of the best ways to get fun in while getting a good workout in.
Also there’s a lot of great examples out there of great dancing programs…like Tae Bo’s, like, one of the most famous ones. It’s old, but it still works.
There’s Shaun T’s Hip Hop Abs, which has gained a lot of notoriety. There’s a bunch of Zumba programs out there, which is basically exercise dancing, and there’s a lot of programs that you can buy.
There’s a lot of free programs out there. Literally, just Google Zumba programs. You’ll see a ton…and if you’re a big fan of YouTube, there’s one particular YouTuber that’s really great that makes a lot of fun dancing videos.
He’s called The Fitness Marshall. Super fun guy. I’d highly recommend checking him out.
But there’s a lot of dance programs as well.You can just type it into YouTube…type it into Google…you’ll find a lot of good stuff.
My Suggestion: Combine Them
Just one of these exercises is going to be fantastic, it’s going to be great, but you’re going to get even better results if you combine all three together, and, not just that, but you make it a daily routine.
You do it every single day. My suggestion, and you could do any sort of combination, but my suggestion…do three sets of 15 burpees and jumping squats and I would recommend alternate between the two sets.
So, for example, one set of 15 burpees followed by one set of 15 jumping squats, followed by one set of 15 burpees again.
Then you do that again and again until you’ve reached three sets of each and no rest in between. That’s really critical. So, that’s going to make sure that you get the most bang for your buck and you work your muscles to exhaustion.
Then after that, you finish it off by rewarding yourself with a dance session and use the dance session as sort of a reward, but sort of an extra workout to get the extra calories burning, and then do this every single day.
You’ll notice that you’ll burn thigh fat like crazy. I guarantee you that.
